What’s Going to Happen to Fountain View?

Abandonment of Bering & San Felipe NO.2 Lift Stations

Be prepared for up to two years of construction that affects not just Fountain View but also San Felipe and Bering.

You’ve probably gotten a Public Engagement Project Notice postcard in your mailbox. The city of Houston is beginning a years-long sewer upgrade project which includes three new manholes along our section of Fountain View Drive.

The construction will include 475 linear ft. of new sidewalk, 11,000 lInear ft. of sanitary sewers, and 5 tree replacements. Fountain View construction will begin in the spring of 2021 and thru the Summer of 2022.

For more information, here’s a link to the city’s webpage that has PDFs with construction info and phasing maps, FAQs, etc. There will be an online meeting on February 11 at 5:00 pm. The public will meet the project team, learn more about the project, and how to prepare for the construction. There will also be a Q&A session at the end of the presentation.

Anyone that is interested should take part in that online meeting.
